The Rae Melvin Band
The Great Lakes Blues Society proudly presents the Rae Melvin Band at the German Canadian Club.
Rae Melvin is a blues musician orignally from Clinton, Ontario. His combination of singing and harmonica playing are sure to grab your attention! Rae plays mostly original tunes all steeped in the blues tradition but with his own style and touch. His influences include Freddie King, Paul Butterfield and Gerry Garcia.
Rae performs on many festival stages and other venues around Ontario and has had his music played on local radio and Blues specialized programs.
He is currently promoting a new EP, 'Clinton Junction', that is out now on CD and all streaming platforms.
Rae has also recently collaborated with the Hamilton, Ontario band, Aster Nox, on a brand new single - 'Blues O'Clock'.
